Entergy Coastal Natives Nursery
We're welcoming old friends and new to volunteer at Houston Audubon's Native Plant Nursery in High Island this summer! We know summer days on the Peninsula can get hot, but we'll have plenty of cold water (remember to bring a bottle), refreshments, and good company! Get your hands dirty propagating native plants that will be used to restore habitat for birds at our four High Island sanctuaries. No experience necessary!
Monthly on the 2nd Thursday, from 9:00 AM – 12 PM (We take a break in April during spring migration)
Natives Nursery Workdays are held at the Entergy Coastal Natives Nursery at the COOP (2081 Old Mexico Road, High Island, TX 77623).
